Role Overview:

As the Clinical Lead/Educator for your discipline, you will play a central role in advancing mental health care through the development of clinician and student-led service models in a multi-disciplinary environment. Key responsibilities include:

Service delivery: Identify innovative best practices to design, implement and evaluate practitioner and student-led mental health services – in close collaboration with external services and stakeholders.
Education: Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for students and practitioners, ensuring a continuous cycle of learning and growth – cultivating a culture of mentorship with an interprofessional approach.
Leadership: Provide leadership to the Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, and Nursing teams, fostering a collaborative environment that balances the strengths of practitioners and enthusiastic students.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Nurse Practitioner
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or relevant professional body
Recent clinical experience (minimum 3 years) in delivery of mental health services
Experience in educational program development and/or student supervision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based mental health care.
Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor (clinical psychologists)
Endorsement in Clinical Psychology (clinical psychologists)
